Gema Snape

Gema opened Bodyfix Rehab Clinic in 2018 with the mindset of providing the best treatment and support possible.
Gema has a degree in Sports Rehabilitation, VCTC qualifications in Sports Therapy and Sports Massage, Medical Acupuncture and Pregnancy Massage certified qualifications. She is also a qualified teacher and frequently trains aspiring Sports Therapists in Anatomy & Physiology and Sports Massage. She is also a UKA running coach, qualified in Joint Injection and is a Baby Massage Trainer.

Gema has experience of working in professional, semi-professional and amateur sports clubs alongside treating patients in Sports Therapy Clinics providing Sports Rehabilitation and Sports Massage. She has also worked in Orthopedic wards providing initial assessments and treatment plans within the NHS. 

Gema is a dedicated athlete who has competed at a high level in various sports from a young age. Her success stems from disciplined training and a deep understanding of human movement and performance. She continues to apply this expertise to enhance both her own performance and that of her clients, helping them gain a competitive edge through tailored  rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs.  

Gema is available in clinic Monday to Fridays.

Charlotte Hickey 

Charlotte is a qualified Sports Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and a level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. Charlotte has supported athletes and the general population in sports therapy clinics during placements as well as volunteering at running events providing pre and post event massage.
Within clinics, she has provided injury assessments, rehab plans, treatments and sports massage; helping people to recover and return to sports or reach their own personal goals. Charlotte is also a keen netball player, playing and training several times a week, so understands how important it is to get back to doing things you love and keep moving.

Charlotte is available in clinic on a Monday daytime.

Joanne Wylie

Joanne is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist and is currently studying to complete her level 4 in Sports Therapy.
Alongside working at Bodyfix, Jo has over 35 years of experience in the NHS as a Healthcare Assistant. She brings extensive knowledge and a caring approach to her clients. Jo is passionate about helping people move freely, recover from injury and reach their full physical potential - whether returning to sport, improving fitness or simply feeling their best every day.
Jo will be providing treatments on regular Tuesdays, with some additional clinics on a Thursday evening and Saturday morning. 

Jo is available in clinic on a Tuesday evening with some additional clinics on a Thursday and Saturday mornings. 

Riz Dala

Riz holds a level 4 sports massage qualification which allows me to assess and treat specific joint and soft tissue injuries, as well as performing sports and deep tissue massage. He also hold qualifications in dry needling, Dry cupping, IASTM and Kinesiology taping. 
Specialising in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, and muscle energy techniques, RIz works with clients that range from the elite athlete to weekend warriors and clients that have normal 9-5 day jobs, ensuring they stay in peak physical condition. His motto is “INVEST IN YOUR RECOVERY” integrating injury prevention strategies, stretching techniques and recovery protocols into sessions to optimise long-term results, whether you’re recovering from an injury, preparing for an event, or looking to improve flexibility and mobility.

Riz is available on a Friday evening with some additional clinics at the weekend.

Bodyfix Rehab Clinic is located at Gymworks Fulwood and is available to members and non-members.
